PRN ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE (APRN)
About The Position
We are pleased to announce the following open position of PRN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). This position oversees the quality of care delivered to assigned patients (caseload of 20) with supervising psychiatrist. Performs psychiatric assessments for individuals under his/her care. Completes documentation necessary to address patients hospitalized under civil commitment statutes. Provides individual therapy, family therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients. Appropriately requests consultation when indicated. Provides psychiatric consultation when requested. The ARNP must be available to work on call and weekends. 32 hours a week and work some weekends.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience with psychiatric or mental health patients required
- ARNP licensure in state of Florida
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
