About The Position

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, including new graduates and experienced clinicians, to join its multi-specialty oncology practice in the East Valley. The role partners closely with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support patients throughout their cancer journey. The position includes patient assessment and management, diagnostic testing, prescribing within scope, collaboration with physicians and care teams, patient education, and coordinated care across clinic and hospital settings. Requirements

Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Arizona through the Arizona State Board of Medical Examiners.
Current DEA license.
ACLS/BLS certification.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Updated cover letter and resume required at the time of applying.

Nice To Haves

Oncology or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and conduct physical exams.
Manage oncology and chronic conditions, including treatment side effects.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, imaging, and EKGs.
Prescribe medications and therapies within scope.
Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams.
Provide patient education on treatment plans and self-care.
Support timely, coordinated patient care across clinic and hospital settings.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
Develop survivorship care plans.
Build strong relationships with patients and families.
