About The Position
The Caregiver provides high-quality, safe, and supportive care to patients in their own homes. The role assists clients with activities of daily living and other tasks essential to everyday living. Caregivers serve clients in locations throughout the valley and surrounding areas, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Cave Creek, Carefree, and Ahwatukee.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Current TB testing.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Minimum of 0–1 year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an in-home care environment.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification; resources are available if needed.
- DCW training; resources are available if needed.
- Fingerprint clearance; resources are available to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, showering, and dressing.
- Assist with ambulation, physical therapy exercises, and walking inside and outside the home.
- Help plan and prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including dishes, bedding, laundry, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Remind clients to take prescription medications and attend scheduled appointments.
- Complete shopping tasks or accompany clients while they shop.
- Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments, shopping, the pharmacy, and other errands as needed.
