About The Position
The Advanced Practice Provider works collaboratively with the Supervising Physician to provide a wide range of primary care services to patients of all ages. Services include health promotion, injury and illness prevention, diagnosis and treatment, monitoring commonly encountered health problems and injuries, monitoring stable chronic health problems, and community development and advocacy. The provider performs testing, refers patients to physicians as needed, writes prescriptions, and performs office procedures within their expertise, established protocols, and available equipment. Care is delivered within a holistic, patient-centered framework. All work is performed under the general direction of the Supervising Physician and within standing orders and protocols. This is a full-time position in Monticello, Illinois, with the Kirby Medical Group. The schedule is four 10-hour days per week, totaling 40 hours weekly, with no weekend or holiday requirement. The base salary is up to $146,581 yearly, with compensation dependent on experience and potential bonus opportunities available.
Requirements
- Must possess or be able to obtain an Illinois license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services collaboratively with the Supervising Physician.
