About The Position

Corewell Health Urgent Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their practice, which is comprised of over 60 APPs and a few physicians. As an APP in this group, you will be credentialed at multiple locations and typically work at 2-3 of them. The role requires either a Family Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant, as the practice cares for patients of all ages. The team-based care model is supported by medical assistants, radiology technicians, practice managers, and access to consults from all specialties within the Urgent Care setting.

Requirements

• Master's Degree (for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
• For Nurse Practitioners: If education and certification were obtained after 2000, must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
• 3 years of relevant experience (for Nurse Practitioner).
• Current, relevant clinical experience.
• Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner.
• LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan (for Nurse Practitioner).
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
• CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS).
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program (for Physician Assistant).
• LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan (for Physician Assistant).
• CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for Physician Assistant).
