About The Position
SunState Medical Specialists is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its urology team in Miramar, Florida. The role involves caring for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions and working closely with urologists to evaluate patients, manage ongoing treatment needs, and provide follow-up care. The provider will build relationships with patients across outpatient and inpatient settings and cover Memorial Hospital Miramar to support continuity of care between the practice and hospital. The opportunity is intended for a Spanish-speaking APP with urology experience who wants to contribute expertise and grow within a collaborative, specialty-focused practice. The practice is a division of OneOncology and provides services including urology, oncology, radiation therapy, and breast surgery. It describes its approach as physician-led, patient-centered, and coordinated from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship, supported by technology and evidence-based protocols.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- NP-C or PA-C board certification.
- At least 1–2 years of APP experience.
- Urology experience as a registered nurse or APP.
- Fluency in spoken Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with a wide range of urologic conditions in collaboration with urologists.
- Manage patients’ ongoing treatment needs.
- Provide follow-up care.
- Provide coverage at Memorial Hospital Miramar to support continuity between the practice and hospital.
