About The Position

OSF HealthCare is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider to work collaboratively with an OBGYN specializing in NaPro Technology and the Creighton Model Fertility Care System to provide comprehensive women's health, fertility, and gynecologic care. This role involves providing outpatient and inpatient care for women with gynecologic, hormonal, and fertility-related conditions. The provider will support the evaluation and management of reproductive health conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, hormonal imbalances, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, and premenstrual disorders. Responsibilities include pre-op evaluations, preparation for surgery, post-op care, assisting with NaPro Technology treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging and other test results, and coordinating care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. The position offers 8-hour day shifts.

Requirements

  • Licensed to provide either advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act OR physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • BLS/ACLS Certified.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous APP experience with the Creighton Model Fertility Care System is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient care for women with gynecologic, hormonal, and fertility-related conditions.
