About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring a full-time, clinic-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to support clinics within 50 miles of Clemson, South Carolina. The position offers 30–40 hours per week and focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based in-person primary and family care. Virtual visits may be provided from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and virtual care does not delay or interfere with in-person care. Providers assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions; perform diagnostic testing and preventive counseling; treat injuries and illnesses; coordinate care; and provide wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. The role also includes clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, routine examinations, and appointment management. Providers receive clinical and organizational support, and charting and follow-up are completed during scheduled shifts. NP applicants need an active, unrestricted FNP license, national board certification, and a master’s degree from an accredited FNP program. One year of NP experience is preferred, though qualified new graduates may be considered. PA applicants need the specified PA education, current NCCPA certification, and an active unrestricted state PA license or eligibility to obtain one upon hire; two years of prior PA experience is preferred. Both provider types need active BLS certification, must pass a respirator fit test, complete a DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment, and be physically present at the assigned clinic. Providers must be able to obtain and maintain multistate licensure based on business needs. Bilingual proficiency may be required depending on market needs for NPs. The typical pay range is $37.66–$81.11 per hour. The role is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.
