About The Position
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), who is an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant, provides advanced medical care within a clinical specialty and the scope of their education. In consultation with other members of the health care team, the APP strengthens advanced medical care practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. The role includes clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The APP is a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Requirements
- Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification, or board certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Active New Jersey license.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- CDS/DEA.
