About The Position
Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled advanced practice provider to join its Orthopaedic Urgent Care team at the Paoli, Pennsylvania office. The role is on-site and PRN, with an expected schedule of 2–4 shifts per month, including evenings and weekends. The provider will collaborate with specialists, assist with diagnostics, and contribute to comprehensive, patient-focused care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in orthopaedics or a related field.
- Familiarity with Athena or other electronic medical record systems.
Responsibilities
- Take detailed patient histories and perform assessments to ensure patient needs are met with high-quality care.
- Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests to support care planning.
- Work with physicians to assess patients and develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient charts using Athena or other electronic medical record systems.
- Administer prescribed medications and support optimal patient outcomes.
