About The Position

St. Luke’s is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its multidisciplinary team at the South Nampa Clinic in Nampa, Idaho. This full-time, 1.0 FTE role provides internal or family medicine services in a live learning environment within the Consumer Access & Experience (CAE) department. CAE collaborates with internal and external partners to innovate, design, refine, and enhance clinical programs and processes that expand patient access to primary care. The clinic uses consumer insights to shape its care environment, so a flexible mindset and interest in adapting care to consumer needs and preferences are desired. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Its clinical team serves pediatric, adult, and senior populations and provides wellness, acute, behavioral health, diagnostic, and pharmacy services. The team develops workflows and cross-training to minimize transitions, handoffs, wait times, and consumer effort, and uses insights from consumers, comparable clinics, and other markets to inform recommendations and potential new standards. The provider delivers comprehensive patient care in an evolving model of primary care. Services include managing acute concerns such as infections, pain, cuts, and sprains; chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, depression, and high cholesterol; preventive care such as contraception, Pap smears, immunizations, diabetes education, and screening coordination; and acute care that does not require an emergency-room visit. The role also contributes to developing and improving clinical programs, initiatives, processes, policies, workflows, and projects; conducts post-discharge outreach to reduce readmission risk; assesses cases and prioritizes patient needs; collaborates with specialists and the care team; and uses EPIC to document and organize information, track tasks, and communicate with patients, the team, and community resources. St. Luke’s describes a collaborative culture with shared decision-making, professional growth, and support for clinician well-being. The organization offers a benefits package that includes competitive salary and retirement plans, along with medical, dental, and vision offerings, wellness options, and training and career development opportunities.
