About The Position

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for outpatient cardiology services at UH Parma Medical Center with travel to Medina and Fairlawn locations. The schedule is days Mon-Fri 8:00 am-4:30 pm. The APP will see new and established patients. Advanced Practice Provider experience required and cardiology experience preferred. A Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws

Requirements

Advanced Practice Provider experience required
Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
(MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred)
1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)
Physician Assistant (PA) (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Passed the Physician assistant National Certifying Examination (Required)
Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire)
Maintain national PA Certification (Required)
Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required)
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Current APRN License (Required)
