Advanced Practice Provider - Piedmont Cancer Institute
About The Position
Piedmont Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its hematology and oncology team at its outpatient clinic in Stockbridge, Georgia. The provider will work closely with oncologists in a collaborative, physician-led private practice, evaluating patients, managing ongoing treatment needs, and providing follow-up care. The role offers the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with patients, take meaningful ownership of their care, and continue developing oncology expertise with support from the practice. Piedmont Cancer Institute is an independent, physician-led practice that has provided community-based cancer care since 1987 and operates seven locations across the Atlanta metro area. Its care teams collaborate with palliative care, social work, pharmacy, patient education, and research teams. The practice also has an active clinical research program, offering exposure to emerging therapies and clinical trials. The opportunity is based in Stockbridge, Georgia, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- NP-C or PA-C board certification.
- Hematology/oncology experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice provider is preferred.
- Experienced advanced practice providers are preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate hematology and oncology patients in collaboration with oncologists.
- Manage patients’ ongoing treatment needs.
- Provide follow-up care.
- Contribute to patient care as a clinical partner within the physician-led care team.
