About The Position
University Cancer & Blood Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the primary care team within its University Health Alliance division in Athens, Georgia. The role provides comprehensive outpatient family medicine and primary care, including preventive and routine wellness visits and the evaluation and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. The provider will build long-term patient relationships in a collaborative environment connecting primary care with a broader network of specialty services. University Health Alliance serves individuals and families in the greater Athens area, with a mission to provide complete, convenient, and compassionate healthcare. Its specialties include family medicine, primary care, medical and radiation oncology, surgical oncology, breast surgery and health, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, and hematology. The organization partners with OneOncology, a nationwide network supporting collaboration, clinical excellence, innovation, and access to research and multi-center clinical trials. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient private-practice setting in Athens, Georgia. Experienced advanced practice providers are preferred, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Spoken Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Board certification as an NP-C or PA-C.
- Fluency in spoken Spanish is preferred but not required.
