About The Position
New York Cancer & Blood Specialists is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its inpatient hematology and oncology team in Staten Island, NY. The role provides dedicated hospital-based care to patients with cancer and blood disorders and focuses exclusively on inpatient care. The provider rounds on hospitalized patients and works closely with physicians and hospital teams to address evolving clinical needs and coordinate treatment. The position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in complex oncology care while serving as a link between patients, physicians, and the broader care team. Experienced APPs are preferred, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. The practice provides patient-centered oncology services at multiple locations throughout New York City and Long Island, including hematology/medical oncology, breast surgical oncology, palliative care, radiation oncology, and clinical trials and research programs. Ancillary services include in-house laboratory and pharmacy facilities, radiology, nutrition, pathology support, physical therapy, survivorship programs, and social workers.
Requirements
- Board certification as an NP-C or PA-C.
- Hematology/oncology experience as an RN or APP is preferred; experienced APPs are preferred, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
