Convenient Care - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking an additional Advanced Practice Provider to join our Convenient Care Departments in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. This is a full-time, outpatient-only position with no primary care patient panel. Convenient Care operates 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The role requires rotation to three Convenient Care locations (Curtis/Windsor/CC Plus at Main Campus) and includes an every-other-weekend requirement and shared holidays among the group. Flexible scheduling is available. The department is housed in a large primary care center, and providers are able to consult with specialists across the organization. There are no call responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a strong, stable, financially-sound, and innovative healthcare system.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience required or at least 1 year of ED experience.
- Current Illinois registered nurse and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure.
- ACLS & PALS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Suturing skills a plus.
