About The Position

Intermountain Health is hiring a Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider to provide outpatient behavioral health care at the Copper Hills Clinic in West Jordan, Utah. The role works with a team of healthcare professionals focused on quality care and an excellent patient experience. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the option to work four 10-hour days. The hourly pay range is $57.33 to $88.47, with the actual rate dependent on experience. Visa sponsorship may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Requirements

For Nurse Practitioners: PMHNP-BC certification.
For Nurse Practitioners: MSN or DNP with a postgraduate certificate in psychiatry/mental health if the primary specialty is not psychiatry.
For Physician Assistants: Obtain and maintain a Certification of Added Qualification in psychiatry issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
For Physician Assistants: Complete an accredited doctorate-level academic program for physician assistants approved by the division in collaboration with the board.
For Physician Assistants: Complete an approved postgraduate certificate program for physician assistants to practice within psychiatric and mental health care, or an approved postgraduate psychiatry residency and additional clinical practice or coursework.
For Physician Assistants: Have a minimum of 10,000 hours of clinical practice in mental health.
Have an active, unobstructed Utah medical license or the ability to obtain one.
Have BLS certification and DEA registration.
Successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
