About The Position
This position is for an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in General Surgery (NP) at UW Health. The role involves providing advanced nursing care within the surgical department.
Requirements
- Completion of a master’s level advanced practice nurse program.
- Current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois, either the Adult (APRN-ANP), Adult/Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP), or the Adult/Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP) specialty.
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by a national certifying body as approved by the Illinois Department of Regulation APRN Board.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
- Bi-annual CPR certification, which is required to be renewed by the recommended renewal date as stated on the card (Hospital Only).
