About The Position

The Physician Assistant provides a comprehensive health assessment and evaluation for patients in the clinic under the supervision of the Medical Director. This position provides health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a Physician, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. The role works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care and may specialize in a specific type of clinical care, e.g., geriatrics. The Physician Assistant orders and interprets appropriate tests such as labs, EKG, and X-rays under Physician supervision.
