NP PA Advanced Practice Provider - Orthopedic Trauma Medicine
About The Position
As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Orthopedic Trauma Medicine, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing compassionate care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will work alongside a well-established group of orthopedic surgeons and APPs managing patients in the clinic, the hospital, and as first assist in the OR. You will practice at Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital and Rocky Mountain Orthopedic Clinic in Grand Junction, Colorado. As a full-time provider, you will work 12-hour shifts that consist of days and nights (168 annual shift requirement, approx. 14 shifts per month) with call requirements. This position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and if applicable, up to $7,500 in relocation assistance.
Requirements
- PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program
- Must have full prescriptive authority and be able to see Pediatric cases
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Nice To Haves
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a PA or NP, including surgical assist experience
- Experience as a provider in Orthopedic Trauma is highly preferred
