About The Position
Join an established Primary Care practice where you will perform patient assessments, assign diagnoses, and establish plans of care. You will implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care, and current research. This role also involves providing education and counseling to patients, families, and groups. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, offering an excellent work/life balance with no call or weekend duties.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred
Responsibilities
