About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Otolaryngology to join the established practice at FPN Coolspring Health Center in Michigan City, Indiana, with outreach responsibilities at locations in LaPorte and Chesterton. The provider will work independently while collaborating with an experienced physician and support team to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care. The provider will manage their own patient panel, seeing an average of 18–21 outpatients per day. A seasoned physician in the practice can provide mentorship. The schedule is flexible and full-time, with no weekends, holidays, or call expectation. Outreach locations are less than 30 minutes from the main campus.

Requirements

• Master's degree.
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with nationally recognized certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage an independent patient panel.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care collaboratively with the physician.
• Provide outpatient otolaryngology care at the Michigan City health center.
• Travel to outreach locations in LaPorte and Chesterton.
