About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider to support the Augusta, Georgia market in a full-time, clinic-based role. The position delivers affordable, accessible, evidence-based primary and family care to patients, families, and communities. Care is primarily provided in person; virtual visits may be conducted from the clinic when onsite volume is lower and doing so will not delay or interfere with in-person care. Every-other-weekend availability is required, and weekend and on-call shift differentials are available. Georgia and South Carolina licensure are preferred. Providers assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions; provide preventive counseling, diagnostic testing, wellness services, chronic disease management, and screenings; and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals. The role also includes clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and appointment management. Providers receive clinical and organizational support, evidence-based guidelines, assessment and treatment-planning tools, and opportunities for career growth and professional development. Charting and follow-up are completed during the scheduled shift. Applicants may qualify as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate. Nurse Practitioners must have a master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, current AANP or ANCC board certification, and an active, unrestricted state APRN license. Physician Associates must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant/Associate Studies, or a health-related master’s degree plus a Bachelor of Science in PA Studies, current NCCPA certification, and an active, unrestricted state PA license. Additional requirements include active BLS certification, the ability to pass a respirator fit test, physical presence at the assigned clinic, and the ability to obtain and maintain multi-state licensure as business needs require. A DOT certification exam must be completed within 30 days of employment.
