CVS Health•Columbia, SC

About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring a part-time, clinic-based Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality primary and family care. The role is based in Columbia, South Carolina, and floats among clinics in Columbia, Irmo, and Lexington. The schedule includes every other weekend and one to two weekday shifts per week. Care is primarily provided in person; virtual visits may be conducted from the clinic during periods of lower onsite patient volume when they do not delay or interfere with in-person care. Providers deliver evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions, alongside preventive services, counseling, and care coordination. The role also includes clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection. MinuteClinic offers clinical resources, collaborative support, professional development, and the opportunity to practice at the top of the provider’s license. Charting and follow-up are completed during scheduled shifts, with no work taken home. Candidates must meet the education, licensure, certification, and experience qualifications for either the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate track. The position requires physical presence at assigned clinics and the ability to pass a respirator fit test. The typical pay range is $37.66–$81.11 per hour. The role is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Benefits for this part-time role depend on hours worked and eligibility and may include dental and vision coverage, wellness resources, employee discounts, and certain voluntary benefits.
