UVA Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with expertise in the care of patients with advanced heart failure, ventricular assist devices (VADs), and heart transplantation to join our esteemed Heart Failure team. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with nationally recognized cardiologists specializing in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology within a dynamic, multidisciplinary care environment. The APP will provide comprehensive inpatient care for patients with acute and chronic heart failure, VADs, heart transplant evaluations, and those undergoing assessment and treatment for advanced heart failure therapies. Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team, the APP will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to this complex population. UVA Health is actively involved in clinical research and the implementation of cutting-edge diagnostic modalities and therapies in cardiovascular medicine. APPs are integral to the management of patients participating in these innovative treatment programs, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based care while helping to improve outcomes for patients with advanced cardiovascular disease.
