Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician. This is a full-time position with no satellite locations, no call responsibilities, and no inpatient responsibilities. The role is dedicated to one physician, seeing both new and follow-up patients. Responsibilities include completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering appropriate laboratory tests, and counseling patients and families on health and disease. Participation in all continuing education, training, and other requirements for credentialing is also expected, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Gastrointestinal experience preferred
Recent graduates welcome to apply

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
Complete patient histories and physicals
Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
Counsel patient and family on health and disease
Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
Perform other duties as assigned
