About The Position

Join Heywood's Heart & Vascular Center. Heywood Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Heart & Vascular Center, our established Cardiology practice in Gardner, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, patient-focused APP to join a dedicated cardiovascular team and make a meaningful impact on the health of patients throughout North Central Massachusetts. The APP will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in collaboration with the Cardiologists and multidisciplinary team at Heywood Heart & Vascular Center. This role offers the opportunity to evaluate and manage a diverse patient population while developing strong relationships with patients through ongoing follow-up and management.

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Preference for at least 1 year of experience in Cardiology or Family Medicine
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Eligible for Massachusetts licensure
  • BLS certification required

  • APPs with a strong Family Medicine background who are interested in growing their career in Cardiology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in collaboration with the Cardiologists and multidisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate and manage a diverse patient population.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients through ongoing follow-up and management.
  • Manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Provide follow-up and ongoing management of established patients.
