When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be a part of our delivery service neonatal team, managing critically ill and premature infants in the NICU with complex health issues including resuscitation, assessment, diagnosis, medication management, ventilation management, treatment, and timely documentation. You will also attend high risk deliveries and participate in daily rounding with the interdisciplinary medical team. You will practice primarily at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah (a level III NICU). Once fully oriented, you may also provide care in our Level II NICU and well newborn units in nearby facilities around the Salt Lake Valley (inclusive of LDS Hospital, Riverton Hospital, and Alta View Hospital). It is unlikely that you will support pre-op or immediately post-operative patients in this role, as surgical needs are currently referred to our Primary Children’s Hospital team. As we are a 24/7 service, you will work a mix of days, nights, weekends and holidays. Full time, you will be scheduled six 12-hour shifts each biweekly pay period. Shifts are generally taken in 12 hour increments, though some may be combined to 24s.
