About The Position

Advanced Urology is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to practice at the top of their license in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to apply clinical skills and expertise—seeing patients independently, performing procedures, and participating in surgeries. The role involves hands-on training and mentorship, contributing to a practice that prioritizes exceptional patient care. As a Physician Assistant at Advanced Urology, you'll be a key part of the team, working closely with urologists and other providers in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. PAs enjoy tremendous responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact on patient outcomes. You will see patients independently in clinic, perform procedures, and assist in surgeries. You'll work alongside top-tier urologists, receive personalized mentoring, and have access to a collaborative care team. Our Physician Assistants are instrumental in shaping patient care and outcomes. Your role extends beyond patient visits—you're part of the dynamic hospital rounds and surgical team. Advanced Urology is a privately-held, 45-provider urology practice in the metro Atlanta suburbs. Founded, owned, and led by urologists, we offer a unique integrated care model with a network of 12 clinics and 7 ambulatory care centers. Our state-of-the-art centers provide comprehensive services, including modern surgery suites, advanced lab testing, digital imaging, and access to novel clinical trials. We offer a robust three-month onboarding program and pair new Physician Assistants with an experienced APP Mentor to ensure a smooth transition and help you grow in your role.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • See new and follow-up patients, develop treatment plans, and provide excellent patient care.
  • Perform procedures and assist in surgeries at our Ambulatory Surgery Centers—our APPs are leaders in operative skills nationwide.
  • Collaborate with physicians in the clinic and provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in hospital rounds, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Educate and mentor new APPs and other staff members to promote professional development.
  • This position will require time in both Alpharetta and Cumming locations.
