Advanced Practice Provider – Internal Medicine – Woodbridge
About The Position
Sentara Medical Group has a full-time opening for an APP (NP or PA) to join Sentara Internal Medicine Physicians at our Woodbridge location in Woodbridge, VA. This is a warm, collaborative, and collegial practice with 3 physicians and 9 supporting staff. The position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with 40 hours a week (36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of admin time). The provider will see 18-22 patients per day. There is no call, and the practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Requirements
- Active NP or PA license.
- Minimum master’s degree required.
- 2-5 years' experience working in outpatient primary care.
- Must be willing to work in a tobacco-free environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Manage a daily patient load of 18-22 patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and supporting staff in a collegial practice environment.
- Utilize fully integrated EHR (Epic) and DAX Copilot AI for patient transcription.
