About The Position

Sentara Medical Group has a full-time opening for an experienced APP (NP or PA) to join Sentara Family Medicine at our St. Luke’s location in Carrollton, VA. Carrollton is nestled on the James River between Smithfield and Suffolk, VA. This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-5pm, with 36 patient contact hours and 4 hours for administrative tasks. There is flexibility to work a 4 to 4-1/2 day work week, with the option for some extended hours. Providers can expect to see an average of 18-20 patients per day. Requirements

Active NP or PA license.
Minimum master’s degree required.
Must have prior APP experience.
2-3 years of APP experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Prior APP experience (2-3 years preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide care to an average of 18-20 patients per day.
