About The Position

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Rockford Primary Care team, working weekends in Primary Care and enjoying weekdays off. This new program offers premium pay, full-time benefits, no on-call obligation, and reduced in-basket work. The practice cares for patients across the generational spectrum. Providers in this role will support the practice in-basket work on the weekends when not seeing patients. Compensation and scheduled hours are aligned with the expectations and commitment of this position.

Requirements

Master's Degree
3 years of relevant experience
Current, relevant clinical experience
Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan or LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
For Nurse Practitioners: evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (if education and certification obtained after 2000).
For Physician Assistants: CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants

Responsibilities

Caring for patients across the generational spectrum.
Completing in-basket work for the practice when not seeing patients.
Attending monthly provider meetings.
