Requirements

  • Progressive clinical experience.
  • Master’s degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master's or Doctorate Degree as an Advanced Practice or Graduate of an accredited school of Physician Assistant studies with a Master's or Doctorate Degree.
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from MN Board of Nursing. Physician Assistant studies certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a Primary Care or Urgent Care setting preferred.
  • Doctorate degree in advanced practice nursing or Physician Assistant studies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and systemic care for a specified patient population under MD supervision.
  • Exercise independent judgment in assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of medical processes within NP or PA scope of practice.
  • Demonstrate specialized knowledge in urgent care, pharmacology, and education.
  • Communicate efficiently and collaborate with diverse clinical teams.
  • Cultivate a coordinated approach to achieve efficient patient outcomes.
  • Show respect and understanding for fellow team members.
  • Apply standards, guidelines, and protocols for care delivery.
  • Continuously incorporate data and information to improve care and enhance outcomes.
  • Commit to maintaining high practice standards for outstanding results.
