About The Position
The EP Heart Rhythm Specialist will work with 9 other EP APPs as well as 7 EP Physicians who are committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. This position will be housed at Intermountain Health Medical Center (IMED) in both a clinic and hospital setting. Your hours would be 4 ten hour days per week Mon – Fri (day off will vary). Call is 1:10 weeknights and weekends. Weekend call is 24 hours Sat and Sun and requires onsite rounding from 8am – 12pm on Saturday only.
Requirements
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
- Experience in Electrophysiology or Cardiology, required
Nice To Haves
- Previous Loop Recorder experience and privileging is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Pre/post procedure assistance for devices
- EP consults and admissions
- Device Management
- In hospital procedures can include loop recorders, cardioversions, TEE cardioversions
- Clinic hours are spent in more of a consultative setting (no device interrogations)
