About The Position
The Ludington Hospital team is looking for a Part Time (0.75 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice. This role involves caring for patients on a busy team, working with a well-established physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines to ensure safety and success. Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree required.
- NP education and certification (post-2000) must be from a program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC.
- 3 years of relevant, current clinical experience.
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative NP role.
- Michigan NP license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Physician Assistant Master’s degree required; graduate of an accredited PA program.
- Michigan PA license.
- PA-C certification through NCCPA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients on a busy hospital medicine team.
- Working with a well-established physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines to assure safety and success.
- Providing care on average of 5 twelve-hour shifts over a two-week period.
- Consulting with Virtual Nocturnist when needed.
