About The Position

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides advanced psychiatric and medical care to individuals experiencing mental illness and related health conditions. The role works collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The position is based in Clinical Services at the Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health, a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital serving medically stable adults aged 18 and older experiencing a mental health crisis, with or without co-occurring substance use disorders. The facility provides a safe, structured, therapeutic environment focused on recovery and quality of life. The listed schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The agency requires coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and work hours and location may vary based on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime. The position requires job-related travel and a valid driver’s license. Applicants must pass an OSBI background check. Applicants for safety-sensitive positions must complete drug testing after a conditional offer, and appointment is contingent on a negative result. The Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health is being replaced by the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center (OPCC), a new facility under construction in downtown Tulsa. The planned facility will have 106 inpatient beds, an expanded residency program, and an enhanced range of behavioral health services.
