About The Position

M9 Solutions is seeking an Advanced Mechanical Engineer to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in McLeansville, NC. A Secret clearance obtainable after hire is required. Requirements

Secret security clearance obtainable after hire is required.
U.S. citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of computer-aided analysis tools (thermal, CFD, structural), such as Ansys.
Working knowledge of computer-aided design tools (3D, 2D, layout), such as Creo.
Experience with small form factor, high power electromechanical elements.
Self-starting, detail-focused, problem solver.
Experience with high-pressure applications, including sealing technologies.
Demonstrated documentation experience — procedures, specifications, design packages, and engineering reports.

Proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards.
