About The Position

As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer (Fan and Compressor Mechanical) at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be part of a team responsible for the mechanical design, simulation, analysis, and testing of fans and compressors in gas turbine engine applications. You will collaborate with the FanC team at the Phoenix Engines site and report directly to the Engineering Manager. The position is based in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. External hires work onsite for the initial 90 days before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. You will support fielded products and contribute to the development of new products for turbofan, turboshaft, and auxiliary power unit applications. The work applies design, physics, mathematics, and software development principles to a broad range of engineering tasks, while contributing to continuous improvement of design, analysis, and simulation methods. Domestic and/or international travel of up to 15% may be expected.
