About The Position

As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will use your engineering experience to support the design, analysis, and procurement of bearings for high-reliability space business. You will produce documentation supporting flight programs, anomaly investigations, and bearing supplier issues. The position is based 100% onsite at Honeywell Aerospace's Glendale, Arizona location and requires travel of up to 15%. You will report directly to the Sr Systems Engineering Manager. U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• At least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze bearings.
• Review bearing data packages.
• Support bearing suppliers.
• Provide production support.
• Conduct manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Support the Material Review Board.
• Give customer presentations.
• Participate in bearing lab activities.
• Produce documentation supporting flight programs, anomaly investigations, and bearing supplier issues.
