About The Position

The Residential Installer installs, tests, repairs, and services electrical and electro-mechanical equipment at customer premises and signal-receiving centers. The role includes field and shop duties, delivering supplies, and maintaining relevant records. The technician works with customers at their homes or businesses and collaborates with coworkers to provide solutions. The position also requires maintaining a quality score of at least 93% and completing at least $850 in monthly upsells.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of installation experience preferred.
• Electronic Trade School training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle, and reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or ADT order.
• Make connections and required adjustments, and test system components to establish service with the signal-receiving center.
• Evaluate job information and delivered materials, assess the customer's premises, and identify practical routes for cable, conduit, or wiring.
• Promptly report defective materials or equipment and inaccuracies or omissions in job information that could result in inadequate customer protection.
• Follow safety practices to prevent injury and property damage.
• Safeguard unused materials, ladders, and tools at job sites and office locations.
• Clean up installation debris, patch drill holes, and return unused materials.
• Maintain a quality score of 93% or above.
• Perform at least $850 in upsells per month.
• Visit customers at their homes or businesses and work collaboratively with customers and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as required.
