About The Position

The Residential Installer installs, tests, repairs, and services electrical and electro-mechanical equipment at customers’ premises and signal-receiving centers. The role includes field and shop duties, delivering supplies, and maintaining required records. Installers visit customers at their homes or businesses and work collaboratively with customers and coworkers to provide solutions. The position is expected to maintain a quality score of 93% or above and achieve monthly upsells of $850 or above.

High school degree or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Two years of installation experience preferred.
Electronic Trade School training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, dismantle, and reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or ADT order.
Make connections and adjustments, and test all system components’ operation with the signal-receiving center to establish service properly.
Evaluate job information, delivered materials, customer premises layouts, and practical routes for cable, conduit, or wiring.
Promptly report defective materials or equipment, and inaccuracies or omissions in job information that could result in inadequate customer protection.
Follow safety practices to prevent injury and property damage.
Safeguard unused materials, ladders, and tools at job sites and office locations.
Clean up installation debris, patch drill holes, and return unused materials.
Maintain a quality score of 93% or above.
Perform upsells of $850 or above per month.
Deliver supplies and maintain pertinent records as required.
Perform other duties as required.
