About The Position

Dana TM4 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dana Incorporated. Dana TM4 develops and manufactures high and low voltage electric motors, generators, power electronics, and control systems for the commercial vehicle, passenger, sports or recreational vehicle markets, as well as for the marine, rail, and mining sectors. Dana TM4 contributes to the highest possible energy conversion efficiencies through its expertise in permanent magnet motors, thermal management, winding, external rotor topology, and control algorithms. As a mechanical design intern, you will join the Advanced Engineering team, integrated into the engineering department responsible for the development of traction motors and high-voltage electronic products for electric vehicles. You will contribute to the mission of the Advanced Engineering team to mature new technologies and innovations that will make the developed motors and electronic products stand out. The team is called upon to support the various technological roadmaps maintained by the product development and product planning groups, as well as by representatives of the light vehicle, commercial vehicle, and off-road business units. The team is responsible for completing technology evaluation and demonstration projects, and technical risk mitigation, and sharing the results. It must also promote and support technology transfer in partnership with the product development teams.
