Comcast’s Cable Legal Advanced Advertising Group sits within the Cable Legal Department and supports Comcast Advertising in achieving its financial, operational, and strategic goals while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Advanced Advertising Legal Specialist will support this group across a broad spectrum of initiatives involving project and relationship management, legal requests, contract administration, and other initiatives dictated by emergent legal issues and business demands. The Advanced Advertising Legal Specialist will also assist in identifying and developing process improvements and liaise with other legal and business partners. This is a high impact role in a fast-paced environment with exposure to Comcast Cable’s General Counsel and other attorneys and business leaders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Proficiency with computer systems and software applications, including, but not limited to, data management systems, contract lifecycle management tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must learn and master new tools quickly.
Strong aptitude for leveraging technology to identify inefficiencies and develop process improvements.
Effective communicator with ability to distill and disseminate pertinent information and build trust among stakeholders.
Critical and analytical thinking, sound judgment, and mental agility.
Excellent writing and editing skills, including a keen attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and effectively with all levels of management in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple workstreams and meet deadlines with high quality work product.
Experience preparing and delivering presentations and training materials to senior leaders.
Desire to continually improve, learn, and demonstrate consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion.
Relevant Work Experience 2-5 Years

Responsibilities

Manage operational and analytic projects regarding legal needs and cross-functional matters with Advanced Advertising legal team members and Comcast Advertising stakeholders.
Learn, optimize, and lead efforts to evaluate and implement contract and vendor management tools, and technological solutions to improve team efficiency and legal operations.
Embrace and commit to utilizing and mastering any and all company approved artificial intelligence tools.
Assist in developing meeting materials, reports, trainings, and presentation decks.
With training and supervision, as necessary, negotiate, draft, review, and analyze agreements, amendments, vendor contracts, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
Willingness to demonstrate flexibility and go above and beyond to meet evolving team and business needs.
