About The Position

The Adult Volleyball Official officiates adult Co-Rec, Women’s, and Men’s league games for the City of Minnetonka. Games are scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:45 to 10 p.m. at the Royals Athletic Center (Hopkins High School), Hopkins West Junior High in Minnetonka, or Valley Park in Hopkins during summer. League play is offered in fall, winter, spring, and summer. The role includes providing quality customer service, maintaining control of games and their surroundings, tracking and communicating scores to the Recreation Program Manager, and occasionally setting up or adjusting courts. Requirements

• Commitment to and belief in the organization's shared values.
• Knowledge of volleyball rules and/or playing experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a volleyball official.
• Extensive knowledge of the game and rules through playing and officiating experience.

Responsibilities

• Officiate adult volleyball games.
• Provide quality customer service before, during, and after league games.
• Maintain control of the game and its surroundings, including participants and fans.
• Conduct oneself professionally at all times.
• Track and communicate scores to the Recreation Program Manager.
• Perform some court setup and adjustment as needed.
