About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified Adult Psychiatrist to join its collaborative, established behavioral health service line at Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital in the northern suburbs of Chicago. The role offers inpatient and outpatient practice opportunities at the hospital and involves providing consultation and ongoing care for hospitalized patients. An emergency department-based crisis social work team supports placement coordination. The psychiatrist will work with psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. The position uses the EPIC electronic health record system. Northwestern Medicine describes the hospital as a state-of-the-art facility with a healing, tranquil environment.
