About The Position
A warm, patient-focused Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide meaningful outpatient care in a supportive environment while enjoying the flexibility of a 100% remote telepsychiatry position. The organization has been established for 17 years with 4 locations, 119 employees, and 22 providers. They serve a diverse patient population, including Spanish-speaking patients and many other languages, and utilize E-ClinicalWorks EMR.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry
- Active Texas and Illinois medical licenses required
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful outpatient care in a supportive environment.
- Conduct telepsychiatry sessions.
- See approximately 1-2 patients per hour, depending on new vs. follow-up visits.
- Participate in shared call with the adult medicine team, with RNs and NPs taking first call.
