Locum Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) Physician Assistant
About The Position
This is a locum position for an Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP) in an outpatient clinic setting. The role focuses exclusively on managing adult patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and COPD, as well as providing routine care for geriatric patients. The position offers immediate start for an initial 3-month period with the possibility of extension. There are no on-call duties. The work hours are from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, full-time, with rotating weekend shifts (every other weekend) and weekday off days. The anticipated patient load is approximately 20-24 patients per day. The clinic utilizes the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active California nursing license required
