About The Position

Leidos is hiring licensed behavioral health professionals to join its Adult Military and Family Life Counseling team in Misawa, Japan. The Adult Military and Family Life Counselor provides non-medical, preventive support to U.S. military service members, military family members, and eligible staff through counseling, consultation, and outreach. Work takes place in multiple indoor and outdoor locations on military installations, approximately 60% indoors and 40% outdoors. Outdoor work may involve uneven grassy, gravel, or dirt terrain, stairs, and exposure to weather. Duties may also require responding to emergent situations, traveling to locations outside a military base, and meeting site-specific requirements for working at designated locations. An iPad is provided for digital reporting; the posting states that reporting involves no PII or PHI.
