About The Position

This position is on A3W at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. The Registered Nurse delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and applicable state and specialty standards of practice. Working with medical providers and the care team, the nurse provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The nurse advocates for patients, families, and caregivers and supports the organization’s mission and values to promote positive clinical outcomes and an outstanding patient experience. The role offers opportunities to influence patient care through collaborative relationships with direct managers, hospital councils, and national nursing initiatives. A $40,000 sign-on bonus is available with a two-year commitment to Mission Health; ask a recruiter for details. Current HCA employees and people employed by HCA within the past six months are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Requirements

At least one year of nursing experience.
Associate degree in Nursing.
Current registered nurse licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; an eNLC license may apply, and licensees should confirm with NCBON.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
