Adult Home Health Nurse- LPN/ RN (AM & PM Shifts)
About The Position
Centria Healthcare is looking for dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a stellar care team in Michigan. This opportunity is for a nurse to care for a 69-year-old female client who is a quadriplegic with a trach. She lives in a supportive home environment with her family, which is described as warm, clean, and joyful, with a love for elephants, gospel music, and movies. Centria Healthcare offers "Double 24/7" support, meaning a Nurse and a Home Health Aide work concurrently on every shift, ensuring the nurse is never alone and has a partner for assistance with transfers, ADLs, and safety.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Michigan RN or LPN license.
- A positive attitude is required.
- A love for gospel music or a good action flick is a huge plus.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with quadriplegic patients.
- Experience with trach care and respiratory support.
- Experience in home health care.
Responsibilities
- Tracheostomy Care: Frequent suctioning and scheduled trach changes.
- Respiratory Support: Utilization of a cough assist machine.
- ADLs & Safety: Assisting with basic daily living activities and maintaining strict fall prevention protocols.
- Supervision: Providing consistent monitoring in a clean, pet-free home.
